President’s March Greeting
“Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.”
Luke 6:36 (KJV)
Greetings Fellow Doorkeepers!
We are off to a great start this year. We have held several activities, events, and meetings – all of which have been extremely well attended by the membership.
I attended NUCUAA’s Mid-Winter Leadership Workshop on Saturday, February 16th at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown Hotel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The meeting was well attended by NUCUAA Elected and Appointed Officers. The meeting topics were:
- Workshop for Leaders
- Information for the Centennial
- Committees’ Centennial Information
- Information from the Board of Directors
I will share more detailed information at the Business Meetings, Department / Committee meetings as we plan for our Delegates’ arrival at the Centennial Convention. Look forward to some changes for the Centennial NUCUAA Convention in July 2019.
The Presidents’ Council / Guardians’ Meeting held on February 9th was very successful, engaging, and fruitful. There were over 55 Ushers’ Ministry Presidents and Guardians in attendance. I was delighted to see over five Ushers’ Ministry Presidents attending the meeting for the first time. Special thanks to the following for preparing the delicious breakfast for the meeting:
- Events Department
- Randy L. Perrin Men’s Day Committee
- Transportation and Housing Committee
- June D. May Building Fund Working Unit
The Executive Committee Meeting held on Tuesday, February 19th was very effective and engaging. Directors and Committee Chairmen reported on their Goals and Visions for their Departments / Committees for the year.
