Happy Mother’s Day Blessings to all Mothers and Mother Figures of the
Interdenominational Church Ushers’ Association {ICUA} of Washington, DC & Vicinity, Inc.!
On Sunday – May 10, 2020, Mothers and Mother Figures all over the World will be honored in many different ways. On behalf of the ICUA, I would like to pay tribute to the Mother of the ICUA – Mother Elaine S. Flanagan. Your ICUA children love and adore you very much. We shower you with God’s blessings, and we pray that God will forever bless you.
To the ICUA Family, I pray that you and your family remain healthy and safe during COVID-19 by social-distancing, and sheltering in place as ordered.
The Executive Committee Meeting {ICUA Elected and Appointed Officers} will meet via web conferencing on Monday – May 11, 2020, at 7:15 PM. You will receive an E-Mail invite and meeting agenda prior to the meeting.
I applaud the Directors and Chairmen for your continued efforts to stay connected with your Department / Committee by having conference call meetings.
The 101st National Convention has been postponed until 2021. All reserved lodging at the Rosen Centre Hotel has been cancelled by the Hotel. Please check the credit card statement that you used to secure your reservation for a credit.
The Pictorial Documentary Committee continues to work diligently on obtaining pictures and information covering the years 1999 through 2020. If you were contacted by a Committee member to assist with pictures or information, please respond in a timely manner. We need your assistance to make this project successful.
We have included a section in the Pictorial Documentary for the Pastors’ of our member churches. We would like to highlight each Pastor by showing their picture in the Documentary. The Pastors’ pictures are coming in very slowly. There is no cost for the Pastors’ picture to be in the Pictorial Documentary. We don’t want to leave anyone out. Please E-Mail the picture to Sandi Dotson and Christina Jones.
