Greetings Fellow Doorkeepers,

I hope and pray that none of you or your family are directly affected by the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Reports indicate that the virus continues to spread. In an effort to keep our members safe during this period of uncertainty, we are taking the following actions:

1. The ICUA will be closed for all meetings effective Monday, March 16th through Thursday, April 30th or until further notice. Meetings to be conducted via Conference Calls.
2. The Catherine E. Mills School of Ushering Classes scheduled for Thursday, March 19th at The Pennsylvania Avenue Baptist Church has been canceled. This also includes the Pastor’s Seminar on Church Ushering. All students that did not take their final written examination last Thursday must report to The Pennsylvania Baptist Church on Thursday, March 19th to take your final written test.
3. The Annie B. Bailey Memorial Program scheduled for Sunday, March 22nd at The First Baptist Church of Deanwood has been canceled.
4. The Catherine E. Mills School of Ushering 2020 Commencement Exercise scheduled for Saturday, April 4th has been canceled.
5. The State of Virginia Memorial Weekend scheduled for Saturday, April 4th and Sunday, April 5th has been canceled.
6. Single and Groups (50 or less) can still schedule to have your pictures taken on Thursday, April 9th from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, April 11th from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The Photographer will be at Macedonia Community Church, 1026 – 46th Street, NE, Washington, DC. Please contact Eric Kirby or Nelcina Wiggins for an appointment.
