PRESIDENT’S JUNE 2020 FATHER’S DAY BLESSING

If you honor your father and mother, “things will go well for you, and you will have a long life on the earth.”  (Ephesians 6:3 (NLT)

I am honored to wish the Father’s and Father Figures of the ICUA a “Happy Father’s Day” on Sunday, June 21, 2020.  Your dedication and commitment to your family and the ICUA speaks volume.  It’s our prayer that God will continue to shower His blessings upon each of you.

To the Father of the ICUA, Father Roy L. Kelly, your ICUA children wishes you a very special Father’s Day.  You have been very supportive to the ICUA and we admire and appreciate you for being an outstanding Father of the ICUA.

To the members of the ICUA, I pray that each of you and your family continues to be in the best of health and adhering to the guidelines as it relatives to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The District of Columbia and the State of Maryland are in Phase I of reopening the economy on a limited basis.  Since the majority of the ICUA activities and events are held at member Churches, we are still in a pause mode until we get the official word from the various Churches as to when it would be safe for us to hold our activities and events at their Churches.

Due to the pandemic we have cancelled all ICUA activities and events through September. An update will be provided at a later date on the last quarter (October through December) activities and events as to when and if we will resume in-person activities and events for the rest of 2020.

I continue to hold monthly Executive Committee Meetings with the Elected and Appointed Officers of the ICUA.  The Board of Trustees and the Budget and Finance Department are making certain that the ICUA financial obligations are taken care of during the pandemic.

To our member Churches Ushers Ministry, if you have not submitted your 2020 ICUA Membership Roster and Dues to the ICUA, you still have time.  We value your membership in our Organization and we want you to continue your membership in this Organization of unified Church Ushers.  Send information to:
